That´s just one of many extra features that I offer my website readers and clients.

Almost a native, I moved to the Valley of the Sun when I was 3 and attended high school at Phoenix Union. I am the oldest of eight children. Seven girls, one boy!!! I am married to my sweetheart, Roland, and now live in Mesa. We have a blended family of six children and 16 grandchildren. We are west coast swing dancers and fell in love in 1991 on the dance floor. In addition, we know country western, waltz, cha-cha, hustle, and other dance styles. We visit our children and grandchildren whenever we can get out of town since none of them YET reside in Arizona. (We´re working on that) We love to watch SURVIVOR and any reality shows dealing with dance, AND we love to cruise!!

As an experienced REALTOR -  because I feel that education is absolutely imperative in any field - I have taken advantage of the many opportunities for continuing education. I have listed below just some of my education achievements as an example:

Education Accomplishments:

I achieved my Real Estate Broker's license in 2006 which was the most challenging achievement of my career. Being a Broker of Homes Arizona, is a HUGE milestone in my real estate business achievements.

I am a proud holder of the coveted MRE recognition offered in Arizona. I achieved this within my very first year as an agent and have continued to get the education that is required to keep this recognition. On the website, www.aaronline.com (Arizona's source of education information), it states that:

'Membership in the MRE Society recognizes an individual's dedication to excellence through professional education and commitment to staying abreast of the latest real estate regulations and practices. Less than one percent of REALTORS® in Arizona belong to this Society.'

During my first year as a REALTOR, I earned the GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) which requires approximately 90 hours of paid education in a classroom setting. I continue to take GRI classes to keep myself up to date with current issues. To quote from the same website:

'The GRI designation is a national designation delivered by the state REALTOR® associations. The 90-hour course of study meets the accreditation standards established by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded the GRI designation (Graduate REALTOR® Institute). Only members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® may hold the GRI designation.

As soon as I completed my GRI designation, I attended classes for the ABR designation (Accredited Buyer Representative). The ABR designation, which is the only nationally recognized designation for buyer's agents, is available through the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council.

The next year I completed my e-PRO designation which definitely helped me see the need for a website and to continually learn new technologies. 'Real Estate agents and brokers who hold the e-Pro certificate have the necessary skills to serve consumers using the emerging Internet technologies.' Then I focused my attention to the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation requiring many hours, and out of town trips to get the education. I think this is my proudest education accomplishment. I still continue to take CRS courses as well.

Real estate professionals, much like others in the working world, benefit from education. The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® encourages its members to continue to build their knowledge and expertise through designations that signify to consumers the real estate professional's expertise in the real estate transaction.
