After two years, the dust is finally settling on the new 900,000 square foot Supersitition Gateway power center south of U.S. 60 straddling Signal Butte Road. Those of us living in the east Mesa and in outlying areas of Queen Creek, Apache Junction and Gold Canyon have been anxiously anticipating the opening of this power center. Some of the tenants have already opened including Kohl's Department Store and Best Buy. The East Valley Tribune announced on Tuesday that, according to their sources, 92 percent of the center has been leased, and it should be fully occupied by May 2007. The center is nestled adjacent to the Mesa Swap Meet just north of Baseline and west of Signal Butte. A list of some of the tenants include Petsmart, Super Wallmart, Staples, restaurants, Bank One, Ross, Babies R Us, KFC, Chiles, Subway, Coldstone Creamery, In-and-Out Burger, Village Inn, Payless, Del Taco, Verizon, Bed Bath Beyond, work out center, and much, much more. It looks like we're going to have plenty of choices for food.
Today, are you ready? We had 46,988 active listings, the lowest number since September 8!! Could it be? We'll just have to watch and wait.
Have a great day, and stay in touch. I'm mailing out my annual calendars. If any of my readers/visitors would like one, just let me know where to send it.
Smiles, Teri
