Large development coming near Chandler Municipal Airport!!

E-mail

I've been busy traveling around our beautiful state of Arizona. I will be sharing photos and information as soon as I have a minute, but - bottom line? Within three hours, you can be in the mountains, in Mexico, in California, New Mexico, Nevada??? This is an amazing place to live. Shortly, our monsoon will move away until next year, but we've enjoyed the rain that has come our way - though never enough it seems.

Soon the winter visitors will return to fill our markets, parking lots, movie theaters, swap meets - all coming here to enjoy our spectacular winters and enjoy their friends.

Lots of things are still happening, but one thing is for sure. Our inventory is still very high (over 56,000), and prices of homes - in many cases - are higher than they need to be in order to entice a buyer. Interest rates may go down which "may" enable more buyers to enter the market; however, as I've posted in other blogs - be very careful when getting a loan. Those of us in the business "typically" can provide a name or names of reputable loan officers. I hesitate to say this 'cause I don't want to offend anyone - however, I personally would NEVER go online and seek out a lender. Get a referral........so many sad stories, trust me!!

The Arizona Republic, reports that the Rockefeller Group is seeking to rezone 80-acres at the northwest corner of Queen Creek and Gilbert Roads for a large commercial and industrial complex, their first venture into Arizona. Plans filed with the city last week show a cluster of offices, stores, industrial warehouses and restaurants  totaling nearly 1 million square feet. Chandler is excited to have new employment in the city. "This project will bring the type of high-paying jobs that are critical to our future," said Chandler Mayor Boyd Dunn. Dunn calls the Rockefeller proposal "a very significant project for Chandler." The layout creates a campus feel south of the municipal airport and puts a grand entrance on Queen Creek Road. The Rockefeller Group purchased the site last year for $21.4 million.
